Lehigh vs Colgate vs University of Miami

Hey guys so I have narrowed down my college selection to these three choice and I am having a hard time deciding which one to pick. I plan on studying computer science and possibly a double major or minor in finance/economics (depending on which college I pick). In terms of what I want to do after I graduate, the two biggest possibilities would be to pursue a masters in computer science/work as software engineer or to pursue a career in consulting. Finally there is a small possibility of law school.

Is there a clear difference in reputation between the 3? Or are they all roughly the same?

In terms of price, lehigh and colgate are around 70k a year while Miami is 50k a year. So a significant difference, however my parents are willing/able to pay for lehigh or colgate.

Thanks in advance.

Also forgot to add that I am a Benton Scholar at Colgate.

Hey I’m in a similar situation as you. What are you leaning towards?

@HornedGuan_12 So I toured Lehigh and Colgate this weekend, and I really liked Lehigh. I did not like Colgate as much and I just could not see myself there the next 4 years. So it is down to Miami and Lehigh. I feel that they are similar in terms of reputation and since Lehigh is more expensive, Miami seems like the more logical choice. But I am still not decided. How about you?

I’m not sure. I also really liked Lehigh, and I’m not totally sure about Colgate. I visited Colgate on a weird day. Do you mind sharing your thoughts on your visit?

yeah so I thought Colgate was a bit too small for me. I did not like how isolated it was. When I went it felt very quiet and there did not seem to be much going on, but this could have just been a weird day. I will say the people are very nice and welcoming. But overall I just did not feel at home at colgate @HornedGuan_12
