Length of degree

I was told if I majored in biochemistry and international relations I would have to wait longer than 4 years for my degree. Is that true?

Depends on the school. Count each of the following courses or credits:

A. Required for biochemistry.
B. Required for international relations, not overlapping with biochemistry.
C. Breadth requirements not fulfilled by A or B.

Add them all together. If the total is significantly greater than the number of courses or credits needed to graduate, you are more likely to have to take extra terms if you do not want to take overloads.

If you are pre-med, it is not required to major in biology or biochemistry; you can take the pre-med courses alongside any major.

K thanks yeah I am a pre med but i did a lot of AP classes so I think I would finish early and that really wouldn’t work for med school… You have to wait for the fall to apply right?
