Length of stay

<p>I am international student admitted to LSA. I am now filling out the Financial Resource Statement. I am asked to choose the length of stay each year at the UM. There are several options and I am really confused. Here are the options listed on the form: </p>

<p>Two months study
Four months study
Eight months study*
Ten months:
8 months study + 2 months vacation
10 months study
Twelve months:
8 months study + 4 months vacation
10 months study + 2 months vacation
12 months study

  • Eight months of study is the most commonly selected and is the
    minimum required for students applying to degree programs.</p>

<p>Could someone explain the different length of stay for me? If I want to be a regular student at LSA who will earn a bachelor’s degree in four years, which length of study should I select?</p>

<p>8 months of study. That’ll be your Fall Term, and your Winter term. Most BA students take the spring/summer term off.</p>
