<p>I just got accepted into the university of my choice and am now seeking advice regarding laptops. I will be living at home since I live close to the uni. I already own a very powerful PC that I built last summer that will be used for all the heavy lifting. </p>
<p>Taking that into consideration, would the Lenovo S300 be a good choice for me to carry around as the “college laptop”? The specs are:</p>
<p>13.3 inch display
4gb RAM (I will upgrade to 8gb myself)
320gb HDD (I will upgrade to SSD that I have laying around)
CELERON 887 dual core 1.5ghz cpu (This is what really worries me)
LESS THAN 3 LBS (best spec of all)</p>
