Which is the better laptop for college: The Lenovo T430 or the Lenovo T530?

From what I could tell on their website, the only difference is the screen size (14" or 15.6"). You can get the same specs on either computer, so it’s really just your preference. I’ve had both a 14" and a 15.4", and I didn’t notice much of a difference besides the 14" screen is lighter.

If you’re still trying to decide almost a month later…
The 14" would be easier to carry around and use in class, but the limited screen real estate could overwise be a limitation. One possibility would be to get the 14" plus an external monitor for your dorm room, which you could hook up when you’re there but otherwise have more portability. The monitor could also double to watch movies/Netflix/whatever on a screen that’s bigger than you’d get on either laptop.
