<p>White Male (although i didnt list my race, but my last name makes it a bit obvious)
Inner City Public School in Indiana
First year of IB program (lots of problems, few classes offered)</p>

<p>Current senior, applied EA</p>

AP Physics C Mech(5) E&M(4)
(I’ve never taken a physics class)</p>

<p>GPA 4.0 (unweighted, hardest classes possible)
Classes (As in all of these):</p>

<p>Significant Classes
Calculus II at IUSB, Linear Algebra and Calc III at Notre Dame (A+. A. A)</p>

<p>ECs (not a lot actually, but I spend a lot of time with these):
Boy Scouts (Life Scout)
Band (I marched last summer in the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps, basically professional marching band, May 19th-Aug13th, big deal)
Quiz Bowl
Science Research (on the Direct Methanol Fuel Cell, regional awards, state chapionship, Siemens semifinalist)
JV Soccer sophomore year (quite fun)</p>

<p>I have leadership and such awards from band and scouts.
I play trombone/baritone (usually 1st chair, smattering of honor bands and state festival awards)</p>

<p>My essays were good, I think.
Reccomendations were strong, although guidance counselor handwrote hers, which is odd</p>

I also heard you were a semi-finalist in the Sieman’s Science Competition, and that’s pretty much a stamp on your forehead that says “I’M AVERAGE, DON’T ACCEPT ME”.
