<p>Two CUNY options with respected music ed programs are Queens College & Hunter. The Copland School at Queens has a BA track leading to initial NY teacher certification, the Hunter option is a combo BAmusic with MA teacher certification. Check the specific requirements as a transfer. Other than NYU, I can’t comment on the others you name. While NYU is a good program, it is quite honestly not a cost effective option for most.</p>
