lets play a Chances game (all 8 ivys)

so as the title states, i applied to all 8 ivys, and i will be hearing back from all of them in like 3 days. in retrospect, it was kinda stupid, but at least it’ll be interesting seeing the results. i put basically equal time into each app. so…start guessing! p.s. i stole this idea from atrophicwhisper :)

sorry if its long, i kinda just copy pasted my resume

Brown
Columbia
Cornell
Dartmouth
Harvard
Penn (Wharton)
Princeton
Yale

if it helps, i already got into UCLA, UCB, UCSD, USC, and NYU, waitlisted at MIT, and deferred Wharton (M&T program)

i’ll post the results in a few days :)

in at brown, cornell, dartmouth, penn?

Let us know the results when you get them, but this is a sick resume and you have a good shot everywhere.

solid chances everywhere, no doubt

^ yeah i am more intersted in seeing where you actually get in. U got a beastly resume.

I think you have one of the most Asian resumes ever, and I’m not trying to be racist. I’m Asian myself if that helps. Other than that comment… you have a really great application.

I thought you already got into Dartmouth. And when did you apply to Princeton and Yale?

I’ll say good chances at all. You’ll get into at least one of the HYP, should have applied to Stanford though with those stats.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that you’ll be accepted at 7/8.

hahah its ok wonderboy, i’ve said the same thing about myself. i basically do everything your typical asian does.

bumppppp (sorry i’ll only do this once)

ill bump up

Solid resume. Sorta off topic, but I was curious (given that I’ve played the violin 12 years myself) as to what your favorite violin concerto is?

On probability, you’ll probably get 3/8.

The best, most solid, yet believable EC’s I’ve seen on this site in some time.

In at all but Harvard (reject) and Princeton (waitlisted)…though could very likely be in at all eight.

i like how you guys are setting me up for disappointment tomorrow… haha jk :)

im already prepared to get slaughtered, i’ll post up results as soon as i get them/bring myself to posting

lolcats: currently, i’d say my fav concerto is the sibelius. i’ve never played it because i’d ruin the piece, but there are a few good recordings of it out there

Your app is pretty similar to mine.

Brown - IN
Columbia - out
Cornell - IN
Dartmouth - IN
Harvard - out
Penn (Wharton) - out

Brown - IN

Dartmouth - IN
Harvard - out
Penn (Wharton) - out

nvm u…

Wattt…

Seeing how u got waitlisted/rejected from so many doesnt leave much hope for the rest of us…
