The schools I’m applying to are:
UC Berkeley
UCLA
UC Davis
UC Irvine
Yale
Northwestern
Pomona College
UChicago
Washington University (St. Louis) <=fixed!
Dartmouth
Brown

They’re probably all reaches, but let’s see what you think…

My stats:
SAT I=1530, Math=780, Verbal=750
SAT II: Writing=700, US History= 710, Math IIc=750
GPA: about 3.37 UW, 4.37 Weighted
I’ve taken at least 7 classes each year of high school, and i’ve taken a total of 10 years’ worth of foreign language in high school (French 5 LitAP, German3Honors, Spanish 2 is what i’m in now).
APs: French4ap=3
Calc AB/AP=4 (i didn’t answer an FRQ lol)
EHAP=4
USAP, Bio2ap=5
so i’m an AP Scholar
National Merit Semifinalist (finalist pending)

I’ve started an environmental business/organization with a friend called Student Circle. I’m Vice President/Legal Advisor/Treasurer.

Hundreds of hours of community service at church and through Student Circle.

I’ve played french horn for 7 years and i’ve played in the advanced orchestra at my school for all 4 years.

i’ve done Yoseikan Judo and Aikido for 8 years.

I’m in Junior Statesmen of America and MUN.

My school doesn’t do rankings (there are too many valedictorians each year since we have over 3k students).

I live in California and i’m 1/4 Mexican (thus, i’m putting Mexican-American on my apps).

oh by the way, i plan to study law, business, and foreign language. Probably major in legal studies or some language or intl rltns in college with a minor in business, then do grad school.

the only thing that’ll hold you back is that 3.37uw…ouch…
i was about to disagree with flopsy, but i noticed you were part hispanic, so im going to agree with their assessment. good luck!

one thing, pomona is more selective than brown, northwestern or chicago, so id rearrange those on flopsy’s assessment of your chances, change pomona to a match rather than safe match.

PS-w00t, applying to 4 of the same schools!

Yeah, my uw gpa is crummy… hopefully colleges will somewhat overlook that with my class load… this year i’m taking 11 classes (in a 7-period day).
