The pig is really cute.
Here’s my thought for the morning - why doesn’t lightning come down and rid us all of the monstrosity that is George Zimmerman?
If you didn’t hear, he is auctioning off the gun he used to kill Trayvon Martin. Calling it “an American Firearm Icon”.
@greenwitch, I know. Makes me want to puke. Frankly, I’m surprised someone hasn’t “offed” him by now. He’s just asking for it.
We have broken the record locally for the number of days in a row with rain/no sun. It’s depressing.
Oh I wish this thread would catch on!! Come on!
Mds and dil are in Thailand for 3 weeks so I am cat sitting. One cat is planted firmly under their bed but the other one would hang in the distance meowing at me. So, the other day when I got to their house, a large package had been delivered. I went on in and took care of cat duties, then went to get the package in. I had to open the garage door to drag it in as it was too heavy to pick up.
Yesterday when I went out, no greeting from a distance, no meowing. Cosmo is still or again under the bed but I cannot find Micetro anywhere. They have a small ranch style home, so there’s nowhere he can really go. So, today I go there and again, I looked and looked for Micetro and now I’m getting scared…OMG, did I leave the door to the house open when I got the package in and he got out??? Seriously, dil would probably never speak to me again, seriously; these are her babies, she is a true Crazy Cat Lady. I sat on the couch for a while contemplating the situation and catching up on FB on my phone when …lo and behold, what do I hear but some faint meows!! I look down the hallway and there is Micetro! I nearly fell down from relief. I grabbed the laser pointer and got him playing and up the hallway and into the living room with me. I’ve never been so happy to see another living creature! LOL.
My tortie (in the avatar) always hides whenever she sees a suitcase. It took me 10 minutes to find her today. Thank goodness for kitty treats in crunchy plastic.
@Bunsenburner, oh yes! We have to be extremely careful when we are traveling and they are going to have to go to the kennel. It’s dicey.
Kitchen. Renovation. Is. So. Hard.
Married 30+ years. So hard.
