<p>I performed the tuition stabilization calculation a few months ago using my data from Albert. I think that the time they were proposing a cost of $1000/yr, not $2000.</p>

<p>The long and short of it is that it’ll save a couple thousand at best. I think I would’ve saved about $1500 over four years. It’s almost insulting, I think.</p>
<p>Now, if you could stabilizing housing AND tuition, then it might be worth something. But I don’t know what the rules of the NYU tuition stablization game are - if someone can lay them out for me, I’ll go dig out my records on Albert and do the math.</p>
