I’ve been deferred to a few of my top choice schools under early action (Georgetown, UChicago, and Tulane) and I’m writing LOCIs to all of them, because I am still very interested in all three. I’m including in my letter that, since I’ve applied, I organized a school-wide service project to provide students and faculty with ways to volunteer in the community, and ways to donate to hurricane and earthquake relief and recovery programs. Should I include an updated CV with my letter, or is that excessive? I know that admissions offices are swamped this time of year, so I kept my letter succinct and around one page.
