<p>I took an honors microeconomics class this past summer at a nearby university and had a wonderful professor that I really connected with. He said he’d be willing to write a letter of recommendation for me. Is this something worth pursuing in addition to the 2 teacher and 1 counselor letters? Will it set my application apart at all or will adcoms not take a second glance?</p>
<p>As long as its in addition to the regular high school recommendations and not in place of them that should be good. Can’t hurt. Good Luck!</p>
