Letter of Rec Questionnaire

Hi, my teacher asks us to answer questions in the form of an essay before she writes us a recommendation letter. One of the questions is “What/how have you contributed to the class?” I think I’m taking it too literally, but I really don’t know what she’s trying to say. Because all everyone does is sit, listen to lecture, do work. Can you guys help me with this a little? I’m not asking for you to answer for me, but rather maybe just give me some ideas/hints until I have that “Ah ha” moment. I’d appreciate it if you can help :)

Sorry to answer your question for your questions with questions, but:

Do you ever raise your hand, whether to answer or to ask questions?
What role do you play in group projects, and were there any that were pleasantly memorable?
Anything creative you’ve done whenever you’ve been given opportunity to do so on a project?
Have you ever helped your friend(s)/anyone with any assignments or studied in a group?
Anything in your essays/homework you’ve written that you were proud of, whether because of your unique outlook on a subject or because you knew a lot about what you were writing on?
Did/do you have a high homework grade in the class because you were always organized, thorough, and/or especially hardworking?

Haha it’s okay. I actually asked some of these questions to myself, but I still don’t see how I’ve contributed…

 1. No…not really…because all the answers were already in the book!
 2. This is actually another question that’s part of the questionnaire. I named a few, but I don’t see how I’ve helped the class.
 3. I don’t think so…:frowning:
 4. well…technically, other than group work, everyone works on their own because it’s mostly studying for tests.
 5. I guess there was one. But again, I still don’t see how I’ve contributed to the class.

I’m sorry if I’m being stubborn and difficult >.<
Oh and if it helps, this is my APUSH teacher
