<p>Is it okay to send more than one L of R although colleges don’t require it?
In fact they require only one either from a teacher or a counselor, but I’m planning to send two recommendation from two teachers
What should I do?</p>
<p>Usually, schools would like it if you adhered to their letters of rec guidelines. Then again, they are ‘just guidelines,’ so if sending that extra letter can reveal something special or different about you that isn’t found anywhere else on the application, go ahead. Otherwise, it’s better to stick to what they tell you.</p>
<p>But this poses the problem of being able to read the letter before you send it…</p>
<p>If it says either from a teacher or a counselor then that means I need L of R from only one, right?</p>
<p>Is it okay to ask if I could read it b/f they turn it in? or is that rude?</p>
