<p>Did the rest of you EA acceptees get a congratulatory letter from your ASC director? My letter was really sweet. He said he liked my essay, and some other things…</p>
<p>Nope, but that would be really sweet if I did! When did you get yours? What else did it say (i.e. invitations to yale club events, etc?)</p>

<p>I meant regional officer… I think. haha I got it today. It’s a generic letter, but then at the end, he wrote me a note. the letter itself mentioned how wonderful Yale is. haha it also said that I was one of the 704 out of about 4, 000… and a welcome note. very sweet.</p>
<p>My regional officer said stuff like that too, chidimma, and also wrote a hand-written note at the bottom. She was very sweet.</p>

<p>She just mentioned the following:</p>
<p>1.) Yale is great. You’re great. One of 704 students admitted EA out of applicant pool of nearly 4000;</p>
<p>2.) some important things that happened on campus in the past few years (speeches, Master’s Teas, new buildings, renovations, etc.);</p>
<p>3.) Yale is awesome. You’ll be awesome at Yale. Come to Bulldog Days. Come to Yale. Her contact info;</p>
<p>4.) Then a hand-written note. “Congratulations, [name]! It was a pleasure reading your application. I think you’ll love it here at Yale. Hope to see you at Bulldog Days. Best, Marcia.” And that’s it. Nothing too personal.</p>
<p>newt, i haven’t gotten one either and we have the same ASC coordinator, so it’s all good</p>
<p>Considering that I sent an email to my local alumni interviewer telling him that I got in and he never responded back, I doubt that I’ll get a letter :(</p>

<p>I got one today too… It wasn’t from the ASC director though. It was from my admissions officer. It’s rather nice :)</p>
<p>Me too! Form letter, little hand-written note. My local alumni club president also sent me a Christmas card. I’m soooo excited about starting college!</p>

<p>I got mine in Ohio two days ago; it was very similar to all of yours, except the handwritten note was more personal (I had already gotten a “congratulations” email from him…). :)</p>
