<p>Hi everyone, I’m a senior student from New Zealand. The school year in NZ starts in February and ends in November.</p>
<p>There is my problem: right now I’m wanting to apply for Early Decision in November. If the letter in mid-December comes to tell me I’m rejected, I’ll apply for Regular Decision.</p>
<p>However, by mid-december, school is already closed! How can I ask my teachers to resend the LORs again, now that they’re probably overseas enjoying their holiday!?</p>
<p>I’m thinking of only applying for Regular Decision to not take the risk of missing LORs, but I really want to try early decision. Do you have any advice or thought on this?</p>
<p>Just let them know about the situation, and then ask them for their email addresses so you can simply email them the CA forms as needed. Then, it’s just a matter of them completing the questions, and reuploading their recs. They just have to be willing to do it while on holiday. Good luck!</p>

<p>Can you please elaborate? I thought teachers are to write LORs, then mail them directly to the schools? How does the CA work on this?</p>
<p>The CA allows your teachers to fill out their part online. To do this, they instruct you to provide an email address, and the doc will be sent to them. They will be able to login and have access to their part of the CA. The CA even informs you when they’ve started, and when they have finished. Good luck!</p>
