<p>I am applying regular decision to Babson college, and it being a private school, I am required to have a letter of recommendation from a guidance counselor. I realized, however, that my application was due January 1st, not January 15th as I had thought after reading it from CollegeBoard.com. Since I have two weeks off, and will not be at school before the deadline there is no way of assuring that the counselor is aware of the deadline. (I also go to a school with a graduating class of 730 students, if that helps bring awareness of how this problem was also brough about since it was supposed to have been written by the 17 of December) What do you suggest I do? HELP!</p>
<p>Do you have your counselor’s e-mail address? His/her phone number? Principal’s number? Pull every trick and connection you know to get that recommendation. Grab a phone book if you have to.</p>
