@FarscapeFan, this is probably moot, since my guess is Brown’s app deadline was the 1st, but Brown is in a very nice part of Providence, and I would not characterize it as crime-ridden or dangerous. In fact, Thayer St, right by Brown, is one of the nicest easy-walk-from-campus hopping streets full of fun shops, cafes and restaurants that you’ll find anywhere.
