Hi, so Pitt is my #1 choice. It has everything I could ever want in a school, except I am nervous that the LGBT population is lacking? Is Pitt a good choice for LGBT students?
My daughter is a sophomore and I would think by what i know you have nothing to be nervous about.

I know that Pitt has gender neutral housing options.
@LivS2019 I am an LGBT student currently attending Pitt, and I have had absolutely no problems so far. There are tons of LGBTQ-friendly clubs here, and lots of designated safe spaces. Also, Pittsburgh is a very accepting city with lots of LGBT events happening all the time. Generally, I find Pitt’s campus to be an amazing place to be an LGBT student.
