<p>I was looking into the Art Institutes. There is a campus close to me. I was pretty impressed with it. They have lots of campuses and a ton of different art majors like photography, culinary arts, graphic design, fashion design etc etc etc. Seems way cool. <p>And on the other hand I am checking out Brooks Instiute in So Cal, which I would have to re-locate but seems like a fun smaller campus. <p>Does anyone have more info about these schools. I am not sure what to do here. Both seem really great.</p>

<p>The thread title is misleading; it should be Arts Colleges or something similar.</p>

<p>OP – the term “Liberal Arts College” refers to colleges that focus on the delivery of quality undergraduate education, are not Research insitutions, grant very few Ph.D.s if any, and whose mission is to grant BA and BS degrees with lots of interaction between faculty and student.</p>

<p>As vossron said above, the term you’re looking for is “Arts Colleges”.</p>

If you mention the area you plan to go to school in, someone can probably point out a few more schools you should look into in addition to the Art Institute and the Brooks Institute.</p>
