<p>We all know its a great biz school, but how are the humanities? How’s the english dept?</p>

<p>Yeah, nothing amazing - just average for big state schools</p>
<p>Specific parts of lib. arts are better than others. For example, the geology and psychology departments are extremely good, but most others are just average. WIth the exception of journalism (communications), most are what you would expect from a large state school.</p>
<p>Mathematics and Telecommunications are also quite good–and the Music department (which is in Fine Arts, not the College of Arts and Sciences) is outstanding. The Music department is probably ranked even higher than the Business school.</p>
<p>Economics appears to be just so-so–which is a bit surprising considering you have to take three economics courses to get the business degree.</p>
