Can anyone name a few liberal Christian universities, where they allow having a boyfriend or girlfriend. Please ?

I’m not sure your title is the best way to ask your question, it might be confusing to others who are trying to be of help to you.

Are you asking about legalistic and non-legalistic schools? That is different than liberal vs. conservative christian schools.

Please clarify what it is you are searching for.

I’m pretty sure they all allow a BF or GF. The real questions is the manner in which you may socialize with him or her. All the catholic schools are pretty lax with dating. GL

It’s probably a lot easier to find liberal Christian universities than conservative ones. Just do a google search for Christian universities and see what you come up with. Most of them don’t have strong rules about dating.

There are schools that have been founded by religious groups, but no longer actively practice that religion on campus. They will be very relaxed about dating.

There are also schools that have been founded by religious groups and STILL actively practice that religion on campus. Most of the “actively” christian schools will have some kind of “common sense” rules on dating…like no overnight visits in dorms, etc. The more strict, legalistic christian schools ( like Bob Jones U) will have very strict rules about dating, dress code, etc.

It is possible to attend a true Christian School and be able to date and have a boyfriend. (I know, I did it myself. Of course, that was back in the Middle Ages…)

When looking at a school’s website, dig to find their student handbook to get more details on their rules. Also google student reviews on a school you are interested in, and read for yourself what students are saying about their school. You can find out the male/female ratio of a school as well.

I recommend you figure out the “feel” of a school, to see if you would fit in and even want to date someone that goes there. My daughter dropped a school from consideration after visiting and learning more about the atmosphere. It was very preppy, greek life was dominant, you “needed” to dress nicely and wear pearls to fit in. Christianity was shallow (stereotype, I know, I am sure there were genuine christians attending).

So, figure out what YOU are looking for, what school fits you best, and good luck to you!

Or is the question about same-sex boypals and girlfriends???

If so probably any of the Episcopalian, Methodist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, other mainline religion affiliated schools.

Very poorly worded question.

Yes, reword your question more clearly, and you’ll get better answers.
