I’m not talking about Liberal Arts Schools, but like political affiliation. What top medium-large size schools are liberal?

Most of the UCs.

edit: actually, pretty much every top public U is fairly liberal and 100% are with >10,000 students (many go into the 20,000s though).

That’s true of flagships even in some otherwise conservative states, like Kansas.

Not EVERY top public school. Wisconsin and Virginia aren’t as liberal as Berkeley or Umich.

University of Southern California, NYU, Boston College (well, it has 9,000)

UCB wins on the liberal part.

USC liberal? In my experience, though it’s growing more liberal, it’s still on the conservative side.

Wisconsin and Berkeley are the most liberal publics…and pretty much every public in California, Oregon, and Washington.

When you get > 10K students, there are so many students of every political leaning that stereotypes lose their meaning.
