I am helping a friends daughter gather information on library science as a career. Years ago I was looking into for myself, (Masters) but could not easily relocate being a single parent. There was no school in my area. But for her - She needs to go to a Florida school for at least undergrad so she can use Bright Futures Scholarship. Low income, single parent kid. Is there a school in Florida that offers a BA/BS in Library Science? And if not, what other undergrad major/minors should she consider to prepare herself for grad school?
