<p>I figured I would start up a topic that may spark some interests. Have you or someone you know ever lied on their resume i.e. performing tasks at an internship you never actually did? Let’s see what we get here.</p>
<p>Nope. I think it’s stupid to do so because if you get caught, down the drain goes your reputation. People and companies talk to each other…</p>
<p>I know a few people that made up fake references for their first job (at like clothing stores/telemarketing/etc) but none for real jobs/internships</p>
<p>It depends on how big or small the lie is. if the lie is what helps you get the job, then its a huge problem, like saying you have a 3.9 when you really have a 3.3 could potenentially ruin your life.</p>
<p>I lie a bit on my resume, I lie a lot more during the interview though.</p>
