Life after J-School

I’m currently a junior at the University of Missouri-Columbia’s journalism school. It’s a good program, but I’m looking for life beyond the j-school (whether I should enter the work force, pursue graduate school, etc.), and I have been looking around at different programs and majors. I’m interested in psychology, IR and history, but I haven’t really focused in on any one program.

Law and/or business school is not an option. My GPA is 3.4 and I have several newspaper internships and clips. I guess my goal is to be a journalist, but I’d like to attend graduate school and become a little more “well-rounded.”

Any suggestions of good departments and schools? Maybe some personal experiences from those who had a j-school undergrad education?

Thanks,

Berkeley has one of the highest ranked psych and history programs (aside from the ivy’s). So does Michigan - Ann Arbor. For Journalism, the top grad programs would probably be at Columbia and Northwestern.
