Life at a commuter school/my dilemma

<p>Here’s my dilemma, I’m considering two options for school. One involves the University of New Orleans which is a commuter school, but in a great city. I’ve always dreamed of living in New Orleans and it would be cheaper, which means more money for law school. On the other hand, I’m considering Arkansas and Mississippi State which are two solid schools with great student life but would cost more. I don’t want to regret not going to a school like the latter two and missing out on huge networks, the sports, great campuses, etc. but I also don’t want to regret not having enough money for grad school possibly. Thoughts?</p>

<p>having been to both it’s a lot harder making friends at a commuter school, you really have to put yourself out there. but that’s what it’s like in the real world so you may as well get practice.</p>

<p>in regular college friendships are like instant oatmeal.</p>

<p>it was a suburb city for rich kids.</p>

<p>yeah, that’s different from a city like n.o where I know i’d enjoy it.</p>
