I was accepted in the CGS program and I just want to know what an average weekend at BU for a freshman sounds like because I know that they are strict with carding at bars so is there any parties to go to?</p>
<p>I don’t even go to BU and I can answer this for you. There are a TON of parties thrown by frats every Friday/Saturday. The Frat houses are in Allston so you should probably find some cab fare or hike it with some good friends 
Bars CAN be strict but aren’t always, and as the age old story goes, find someone to buy you something if you have to. There is something here called THROWED and it’s a party for 18+ (mostly students) at a local club called the Middle East. You might not be able to drink but someone might BUY you a drink if that is what you are concerned about. Boston has a really active night time. There are a ton of other schools nearby, Northeastern (great frat parties), MIT (great frat parties), Harvard (will party with you cause their parties aren’t great), BC (might be mean to you, but they’ll party with you) and of course a ton of small liberal arts schools like Emerson. You’ll have fun. Don’t worry just yet!</p>
