Is it really self segregated as the stereotype in terms of races not interacting? And is it more prevalent than at other schools?
Are the people in Greek life exclusive or generally nice and open?
I am Asian and have white friends, Asian friends, Indian friends, and black friends. I do notice that people tend to hang out with their own race, but that depends almost entirely on the individual i.e. it is you who choose whom you interact and hang out with. And some people are more comfortable hanging out with their own race, and I think that’s perfectly understandable.
If you’re a girl, you’re going to have a ton of fun with Greek Life because there are parties every week. If you’re a guy, be prepared to get to know a lot of girls/guys in the frats/be involved in Greek Life yourself in order to maximize the fun
