life sciences 1

hows life sciencces 1? particuarly in a six week session

doesn’t it look bad to take premed requirements during summer?

I took Life Sciences 1 for a Summer Session. It was very pleasant, because I already some of the material and the textbook was very helpful. If you took senior-level Biology in high school and covered biodiversity, you’re well prepared. Also, one of the finer aspects about taking Life Sciences 1/2/3/4 during the summer is that there are fewer pre-meds and more high school/other UC students competing with you, so the curve works in your favor. The medians on the quizzes, midterm and final were about 80% or so.

why would premeds shy away from the summer sessions?

thanks flopsy - good advice as usual

funnyman - im not premed

flopsy did you take the Summer Session at UCLA or another UC?

opps…

I think it goes without saying that I took the Summer Session at UCLA.
