Which schools have the strongest lightweight womens rowing programs for an academically strong student?

How academically strong?

Holy Cross has a very good womens crew program.

GPA 3.9 unweighted; SATs 2300; all AP and honors classes and many extra curriculars

definitely talk to her coaches about the coaches at the programs they suggest.

Unless she’s Olympic caliber, I’d say it’s not a matter of which rowing program is the strongest, but rather, what is the top school you can get interested in her because of her outstanding academics. Any Ivy or NESCAC should be in the running depending on what type of school she’s interested in.

Princeton has one the best WLW team most years. So does Wisconsin.

For the top Academic/rowing teams you should have excellent GPA/test scores and a 2K of low 7:40’s or below by end of junior year. Getting faster all the time. Top Lightweight recruits now in the 7:20’s by end of senior year.
