<p>Upenn is my absoulte number one first choice, but i received a likely letter from dartmouth! I heard a rumor saying that the ivies talk to each other, and if you get a likely letter from one ivy, the others give up and don’t accept you! Is this true? Someone please answer!!</p>

<p>The basis for this arises from the athletic likely letter where most coaches will ask for a commitment from the athlete before seeking a likely letter from admissions</p>
