I am a female rower who was just officially supported by the Radcliffe/Harvard lightweight women’s team. I submitted my application October 18th, per the coach’s instructions to have everything submitted before my October 25th LL meeting. To others who had LL meetings earlier this month or have gone through this process, how long does it take for admissions to send a decision? Also, are you notified electronically or by mail?

The first LL meeting for Harvard was Sept 26 and the LL announcement was given via the portal page on Oct 1, followed via letter mail received later that week. They send you an email announcing a change in status and to check your portal site. The other subsequent LL meeting will be the same.

Hopefully you had your required on campus admission office interview already before the LL meeting. Keep in mind that even after you receive your LL notification, they will still want you to have an alumni interview in your local area, which apparently is also mandatory. Good luck.
I had an admissions interview when I went on my OV. I did not know about the alumni interview, thanks for the heads up
