Thank You for completing your application to the University of Virginia. We are so excited that we are one of your schools of choice. This time is one of anticipation and anxiousness as you wait to hear where your second home wil be for the next four years, and I want to take the oppurtunity to assist you in the weeks ahead as you make final preparations for college.

The Univeristy has become a national leader in retaining and graduating African American students who are satisfied with their uniiversity experience and academic excellence. To learn more about this experience, we have matched you to a cuurent African American student who can answer your questions about academics, student life and U.Va, or just talk to you while you wait. This student can share valuable information that may help when it comes time for your college decision. Look out for an Email with the subject: "Look Hoo’s Talking: in the next few weeks.
