likely letters?

do any university’s send out likely letters?? if so, what schools??

I haven’t heard of universities doing that for transfers. However, Harvard does interview select applicants, it seems, which could be an indicator that you’ve made the first cut.

If they make cuts, does that mean that the AdCom reviews applications more than once? I was under the impression that they only have time to review everyone once.

I really am not that familiar with the process to make an assumption like that. However, I know that my friend was contacted by Harvard to set up an interview, which is not offered to all applicants. Unless they choose names at random, it is likely that they viewed his application once and wanted to know more about him in order to complete their evaluation. Unfortunately, he was unable to get the interview in time and was waitlisted.

I already received my rejection letter from UCLA and Harvard.

Seriously…?
