Likelyhood of acceptance?

<p>aspiring schools in order (top to bottom): Stanford, Georgetown, UCB, UCLA(bus/econ), Cornel
double major in either econ/polsci or business/polisci. i meet all requirements for the three majors. </p>

<p>Ohlone College (JC-2years) gpa: 3.9 (after fall semester it will probably be higher)
SAT 1950 (give or take 20 points.)
HS gpa: 3.0
Summer class in Berkeley: got a B+ in ps2 :frowning:
Awards:
several in community service, military and academic excellence. </p>

<p>ECs and jobs:
ranked 2nd nationally in CC debate (gold medalist last year)
own transportation business
very diverse work experience. HVAC, mechanic intern, dispatcher, english tutor, TA for a speech professor
some others such as building a rehab center in mexico, united states naval sea cadet corps, youth guest speaker etc.</p>

<p>hi… ok so i have been accepted into mcgill and purdue and im in a big big dilemma because i dont know which one is better! all rankings rate mcgill higher but some people are of the opinion that purdue is a reli good uni for enginering, which is wat i plan to do in mcgill too. so iw as jus wonderin if u guys could help me make my decision…?</p>

<p>Great ECs and GPA. Just try to get your SAT score to 2100+ in order to be competitive at Stanford. Gtown, UCB, UCLA, and Cornell are reasonable reaches. Make sure you have some safeties and matches, too.</p>
