You can send 4 for free. You have to pick them before you see your scores (you can pick them when you register for the test until about 1-2 weeks after the test.)
With the free option, you can send your scores to 4 colleges. This option can only be used BEFORE you take the test so you won’t know your score. After you receive your score, you can send your score to an unlimited amount of schools.
