Limits on the Box Question (#3)

I know there’s already a million threads on the box question but all of them just seem to be asking for ideas.

So, if I’m doing my box text-only can I use as many characters as I want? There are limits on the other questions and since I’m doing the application online I’m assuming anyone who is using the hard-copy application can only put as much as physically fits in the box. My answer right now is a couple pages long because I left all of my calculations in to show that I’m not making all of my numbers up. Obviously no one’s going to read my calculations very carefully so I’m probably not going to waste too much of the reader’s time. Apparently lots of people are sending in pictures and the like, so do the readers get grumpy if your answer takes longer to read? I’m hoping mine is entertaining enough that it’ll keep their attention but I’d like to know if I should hack it down a bit.

Put the calculations in a pdf file or some other sort of online object and refer us to it. Put only the results and fun stuff in the box. It’ll be more fun to read and anyone who is curious will check you : )

last year, when i filled out the box online, mine was mostly text. They imposed some unstated character limit. I think it was 1024, but in any case it was less than half a page, let alone 2 pages.
