Lines to correspond with answer (Individualism Passage) on March 2014 SAT?

Hi everyone!

After the test I talked to some of my friends and none of them had one of the passages that I received. It was a two paragraph reading passage that had to do with individualism and the positives and negatives it can bring to society. It also had different types of questions that were along the lines of choosing the lines that corresponded or gave evidence to the answer of the previous question. I’m asking because my last SAT and the practice tests I took did not have questions like this.

I’m curious if anyone else received the same passage? If not, is there a reason for why I got a different passage?

That is the variable section, and doesn’t count for a score. My friend mentioned having it as well. It is so they can test out new questions or types of questions for their fairness and how difficult they are. I’m guessing you might have experienced something they may put on the 2016 SAT.

I didn’t get that section, but I got something about the bee population decreasing.
