Links to Additional Official SAT Practice Tests from CollegeBoard

How to you find the QAS tests?? I was linked to the PSAT section of TCB’s Product Listing page but it only has books on administering the test.

thanks for the links

I’m pretty mad that they didn’t make different practice tests for every year since 2005. You only get three extra from these released exams. It’s a joke.

I have a 10 Real SATs book from 1998. Which parts of this do you think would still help?

^For math, the multiple choice questions are still very useful for practice. Be aware of two things: 1) quite a few of the multiple choice questions in that book reappear in the last 7 tests of the current (blue) book; 2) some topics on the current test were not on the 1998-era tests. For example, you won’t see absolute value, functional notation, and equations of lines.

Oh thank you!!! :DD

Thanks fignewton! What do you think about the Critical Reading and Writing Skills sections? (no essay back then)

The “verbal” section (as CR was called pre-2005) didn’t have short reading passages, and also included analogies which are no longer in the SAT. And there was no essay or writing multiple choice. But the individual reading passages are good practice for the longer passages on the current test.

are barron’s and princeton review’s SAT practice tests a good indicator of your real SAT score? I find both to have varying effects, such as difference in the commonness in vocabulary.

Is there a way I can get answers to the provided questions? I solved them just to realize there was no answer sheet to compare my own answers…

@Everlastinglight

Are you referring to the practice tests in the original post? The answer sheets are in the Scoring Instructions pdf document listed right after the links to the practice test pdfs. In some of the tests the answer sheet is at the end of the document.

is it me or do the links in the original post for 10-11 and 11-12 take you to the 13-14 test? what gives?

@jbbfrank

Yes, the link to the 2010-11 test takes you to 2012-13 test which are identical, and the link to the 2011-12 test takes you to the 2013-14 test which are also identical. Essentially, the list I wrote in the original post has all the unique tests. There have been no new practice tests released since I made the original post.

^^ You’re Awesome SAT Quantum. I’ve watched tons of your vids(entire bluebook and ACT red book.) You have been of tremendous help in preparing for this test. Thank you!

@lilbbased
I am glad the videos were of help. Best wishes for your upcoming SAT and ACTs.

Thank you!!!

Is there a link for the explanations to the 2004-06 prep test? Not answers, im looking for explanations

I don’t believe there are explanations to any of these, because they are just pre-released official tests
