<p>Would it be passable to bring a computer equipped with Linux, and not run into any trouble with software compatibility? In other words, do any courses in the ECE programme require Windows/MAC?</p>
<p>Any programs that require Windows/Mac can always be used 24 hours a day in the many computer clusters scattered around campus.</p>
<p>And, anyway, you can buy a legit copy of Windows from the school store for $10, so if you don’t want to work in the lab and run into some software incompatibility you can always dual-boot.</p>
