<p>Hey, I was recently admitted to Brown PLME and am strongly considering going there. How is the linux compatibility there at Brown U (and I guess, Alpert Med School)? Am I allowed to use the wireless with a linux distro installed? Are there classes that require some windows only software (in undergrad and med)? And even better, are there any Brown students who are using linux there to give me their experience?</p>
<p>Fantastic support. Very active Brown Linux user group and listserv. Largest lab in the CS department and most users there are using Linux. On my phone or I’d say more, feel free to PM for more details.</p>
