Lipid Chemistry Research

I am looking for grad schools with strong research interests in lipid chemistry and biochemistry (not food science-related). Anyone know some?

I already know Rutgers and Purdue have lipid chemistry laboratories, but it would be nice to have more options.

check out the directory of graduate research

You should check out Ed Dennis in the Chemistry and Biochemistry department at UCSD (which happens to be my department). He leads a Lipids research initiative, is very well known in lipid chemistry, and is well funded (NIH just renewed the $38 million grant). Here is the website for the initiative in case your interested: - [LIPID MAPS – LIPID Metabolites And Pathways Strategy](http://www.lipidmaps.org) .

I know a biology Ph.D. student who is working in a lab on this subject at Vanderbilt now.
