Hi guys~
I’m filling out the MIT application and I was curious to know if I should include courses that I’ve audited at universities. I don’t have official grades for them (mainly due to financial reasons), but I believe that they accurately reflect my coursework.
Right now, in the mathematics section, I have listed the following:
AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics
Multivariable Differential Calculus- Stanford EPGY
Multivariable Integral Calculus- Stanford EPGY
Linear Algebra-HMC
Differential Equations-HMC
Linear Algebra and Differential Equations II-HMC
Mathematical Analysis I (Real Analysis)-HMC
Graduate Analysis I (Measure Theory)-HMC
Topology (Point-set)-HMC
Distribution Theory- Audit
Riemannian Geometry- Audit
Point-Set Topology- Audit
Algebraic/Differential Topology- Audit
So my question essentially amounts to: is it acceptable to leave the last 4 courses even though I don’t have an official grade for them?
Thanks~
