List of Strengths and Weaknesses of Pomona College

Please list the Strengths and Weaknesses of Pomona in all areas, including but not limited to the academics, the professors, the fine arts, the living conditions, the costs, and any special/strong programs.

You’re hilarious! And not at all demanding :)

Pros: Students who know how to do their own research. No freeriding here.

Cons: The HS student who comes off as arrogant and entitled, who doesn’t even say thank you after making a ridiculous demand, and who would never fit into the friendly and laid back attitude appreciated at Pomona, does occasionally slip through the cracks and land at Pomona.

At first I thought this must be a joke. Then I saw that you had copied and pasted the exact same post into a dozen other forums. Hmmm…

If you’d really wanted to hear the subjective opinions of Pomona College from alumni, students and parents based on their own experiences, that’s what you should have asked for, not some seemingly objective list of “Strengths and Weaknesses” encompassing a set of overly broad categories. Because that kind of list just doesn’t exist.

I’d recommend you check out college guides at your local library. PS It’s spelled “beggar.”

Isn’t that part of the college search – doing your own research using many different sources? Sheesh.

This thread made me laugh out loud. I’m really looking forward to meeting Pomona parents!

Me too, RMF!

Me three!!! :)
