<p>My major is philosophy, and there really aren’t any “philosophy related” ECs I can do besides reading on my own. I work a lot and have a lot of money saved up, and I was thinking of making a donation to a philosophy program at my old community college. Since this wouldn’t be at any of the UCs, it wouldn’t look like I was trying to buy my way in, but it would still show dedicated interest in my major and education, right?</p>
<p>Good or bad idea? How should I list it on my app?</p>
