I’m concerned about applying to Columbia and listing the “Bradley Manning Support Network” and “Restore the Fourth” as extra curricular activities. I’ve been extremely involved in both of these things recently, and they’re very important to me. However, a few years ago Columbia basically said students shouldn’t talk about wikileaks on social media due to job prospects, etc. None of the activity has been violent or illegal. We’ve just expressed controversial opinions through public outreach and street theater in NYC. Should I leave these two things off?
