Listing marketing as a job on my college resume?

<p>I got my mom to call HP with me and they agreed to open an account for me (17 years old) to sell their laptops and other products as an online affiliate-- under the conditions that I would be paid directly, but would be taxed in the same bracket as my parents. So I started and became successful with it, working just like any other job. Could I list that on my college resume?</p>

<p>Definitely. Colleges like to see this type of initiative. If you have decent sales numbers, mention that too - not to brag, but to let them know you are serious. Dedication to this job (while also getting good grades) would impress me if I was an admissions officer.</p>
