Is it wise to list the other schools that you are applying to? I wasn’t sure if this would help you or hinder you.

lucianne - are you asking how to answer if questioned about other schools you’re applying to or are you asking if you should volunteer this information even if it’s not requested?

like on the supplement it says to list the other schools that you are applying to. it’s an optional part of the application though so i wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to do it or not.

i didnt think that was on the carleton supplement?

the only questions i see are:
- Name the secondary school teacher who has most influenced you and briefly explain why. (200 chars)

What subjects most interest you and why? (400 chars)

Do you have a tentative career plan? Please describe it. (400 chars)

Why are you interested in Carleton College and how did this interest develop? (300 chars)

From your reading, whether children’s books or classics, what books or authors have particularly impressed you and why? (500 chars)

but fwiw, on the grinnell application i put:
I am planning to apply to the University of Washington, Whitman College, Lewis and Clark College, Macalester College, and Oberlin College.

and i told oberlin:
I am planning to apply to the University of Washington, Whitman College, Lewis and Clark College, Macalester College, and Grinnell College.

and i told reed:
I am planning to apply to the University of Washington, Whitman College, Lewis and Clark College, Macalester College, and Grinnell College.
